Life of Pi

So there are two versions of the story told by the shipwreck survivor.
I would think that the first one is the truth since the whole movie is telling the first version, but a lot of people actually accept the second one as more realistic and feasible.

Think about it, it's because I "prefer" to believe the first story.
What I feel is, unlike Rashomon wherein what we choose to believe is more about justice... In this movie, it's how you want to see your life.

...Do you have faith because there's no better option?
...Will he get more confuse if he's Buddhist too?
Haha

Anyways... I think this '2 stories dilemma' might stay with me for quite a long time.
